Revised revised Kay Fuzz Tone schematics

Two capacitors were missing in the diagram of the Kay Fuzz Tone I posted. The image in the original post has been updated to reflect this.

Anyway, here is a short sound clip of the Kay Fuzz Tone. First clean, then the Kay Fuzz Tone is switched on. Later, a Lovepedal COT50 is activated before the Kay. At the end, some more effects (compression, delay, chorus) are added and the COT50 is fully cranked for fun.

Revised Kay Fuzz Tone schematics

There’s always been doubts whether the schematics of the Kay Fuzz Tone (used by The Edge of U2 on “Elevation” and Daniel Lanois on ”Orange Kay”) are correct. I promised to draw the schematics forever but never really had the time to do so.

Until now, of course.
